In 2010 George Irwin, CEO of GLTi – and our own “Green Wall Editor” here on Greenroofs.com – was asked to design a greenwall for NBC’s “Green is Universal” week, along with Graham Stanley of Walls of Green, and he collaborated with Steve Ritz and Discovery High School students to create beautiful examples for display at the NBC Experience Store.
George says:
“What an honor and privilege to be asked back for Earth Day. Tune in on April 22! This is a testament to the success of our ability to engage students. Visit our education link and view the video GLT Featured on NBC from November 18, 2010.” ~ George Irwin
If you can’t make it live, don’t forget to set your DVRs for April 22 at 8 a.m. EDT!
Hooray for NBC, the USBGC (I’m a LEED AP), the Green Bronx Machine and GLTi!
