Since our founding in 1928, Tremco Roofing has “kept good roofs good,” growing into the premier provider of customized roofing and weatherproofing solutions, as well as programs for managing all of a facility’s assets. A core value of Tremco’s is product innovation with an emphasis on sustainability. We have proven this time and again, by removing asbestos from our roofing systems in the mid-80s, developing low VOC and solvent-free products, offering a wide range of ENERGY STAR and Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) certified roofing systems, and much more.
Most recently, we developed the industry’s first all-white built up roof (white gravel and white adhesive), which is compliant with California’s stringent Title 24 requirements, as well as the first modified bitumen system featuring white adhesive. These two systems meet the CRRC “cool roof” standards for, and offer unprecedented energy-savings to buildings with “traditional” roofs (plus they look great!).
Our many systems help architects and building owners who are striving for LEED – certified facilities by contributing in such areas as stormwater management, reducing the heat island effect, recycled content and more. Our growing recognition as a leader in vegetative roofing systems can be seen in the dozens of projects we have underway, and in finished systems like the one crowning Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago.
Tremco Roofing is fully committed to building upon our past sustainable approaches, creating new mechanisms to improve sustainability and value for our customers.
