Ecovilas is architect Ot?vio Urquiza’s project for a sustainable village in the province of Rio Grande do Sul. There are 18 separate greenroofs on the property, and each greenroof measures 100 m2 (1076 sf) The roofs have a pitch of 45 degrees, and the community has a total of 29 buildings.

The greenroof is comprised of the patented Ecotelhado system of a pre-vegetated rigid substrate (container). The project is available to see by appointment.
