The tradional felt and asphalt roof needs replacing. The house is not air conditioned and I (the homeowner) am attempting to eliminate the need to cool the house in the summer through the use of the green roof and other environmentally low impact methods including pumping cool air from the basement to the third floor several times during the day and night. Completed in July, 2007.
