Completed in May of 2008, the Seneca Park Zoo green roof was one of the first applications in an educational / public setting. Owned by Monroe County, New York, it was a clear display of government responsibility to provide the public access to up and coming technologies.

The Green Living Roof Panels by Green Living Technologies were pre-grown prior to the installation. The roof provided an opportunity to install horizontal support to prevent the Green Living Wall Panels from sliding. It was only a few days that the majority of the sedum started to bloom providing an instant carpet of color.
