Project Description & Details
The Brooklyn Heights Green Wall project began two years ago on a quaint street in Brooklyn, when the client approached Town and Gardens to create and install gardens for her charming 1800s Brownstone. The client was in the midst of a complete renovation of her house, and decided to go forward and re-create the backyard space as well as the rooftop.
The backyard was transformed into a beautiful space which now boasts a gorgeous 96 square foot, 16′ x 6′ high green wall from Plant Connection. From the beginning, the client wanted a fresh start with the backyard, and her only request was that they preserve her Japanese Maple Tree. The green wall became a living focal point that changes with every season providing the clients with a multi-media spectacle that could be enjoyed from both inside and out.
