As you probably know, each year Green Roofs for Healthy Cities recognizes the best in integrated design and installation excellence with the Green Roof & Wall Awards of Excellence. They also recognize outstanding contributions to the industry in research and policy.

The Green Roof & Wall Awards of Excellence program showcases distinction in three areas:

“The Design Awards acknowledge excellence in innovative and integrative green roof and wall design and raise awareness of the multiple benefits that green infrastructure can provide clients and the general public.

The Research Award honour individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to the green roof industry in research.

The Civic Award honour individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to the green roof industry in policy development.” ~ Green Roofs for Healthy Cities

The Awards, which showcase the most leading-edge design in the green roof and wall industry, will be presented at CitiesAlive in Chicago this October.

If you haven’t submitted yet, the submission deadline to the Green Roof and Wall Awards of Excellence has been extended to 11pm EST tomorrow, Friday, June 1, 2012.
