Tara Aubuchon, Research Assistant at the MIT Green Economic Development Initiative, has asked folks in the Stormwater Infrastructure Matters (S.W.I.M.) Coalition (I’m on their mailing list) to participate in a survey which I felt would be of interest to many of you in our greenroof and greenwall community.
This survey is part of the Green Economic Development Initiative (GEDI), a project of Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Community Innovators Lab (CoLab). The project supports economic development organizations pursuing the triple bottom line of environmental sustainability, social justice and economic opportunity.
So here goes – this is what Tara says:
“I am writing on behalf of researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They are investigating the economic development opportunities associated with cities’ investment in green stormwater infrastructure projects. Some of you are designers or installers of stormwater management solutions. As such, your input is valuable to their research.
I encourage you to participate in the following, 10 minute survey: http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/1042681/Green-Infrastructure-Survey
Your individual response will remain confidential. Any data you provide will not be reported on a firm level basis and will only be used in aggregate. Thank you for your participation! “
Sounds like a great cause and I’m sure New York’s S.W.I.M. members will participate – how about you? For more information, please contact Tara at: taubuch@mit.edu or 845.558.0605.
Happy greening,
~ Linda V.
