Presented by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities, CitiesAlive will explore the science behind green roof and wall performance, technology, and design through the lens of the different climates and cities within Cascadia. CitiesAlive® Green Roof & Wall Awards of Excellence

Every year the green roof and wall industry recognizes exceptional integrated design and installation through the CitiesAlive® Green Roof & Wall Awards of Excellence. This is the only awards program dedicated to innovative green roof and wall projects and is designed to celebrate the creative and technical advancements the industry continues to make. CitiesAlive Awards of Excellence also recognizes outstanding individual contributions to the industry in research, policy, and corporate leadership.

Call for Awards Submissions

This is your organization’s opportunity to have an outstanding project celebrated with hundreds of industry professionals at CitiesAlive, and profiled in the Living Architecture Monitor as well as numerous other publications. The Design Awards acknowledge excellence in innovative and integrative green roof and wall design. The awards include small- and large-scale intensive, extensive, residential and commercial categories.

At the CitiesAlive Awards of Excellence, the industry also honors nominated individuals who are making outstanding contributions to green roof policy development with a Civic Award, outstanding research contributions with the Research Award, and stand-out individuals who are making a significant contribution to the industry with the President’s Corporate Award. In partnership with the Living Architecture Monitor, outstanding advertising creative is awarded the Living Architecture Monitor Advertising Award.

Take this opportunity to have your work celebrated amongst industry peers. Submission deadline is 11:59 pm ET, Friday, May 19th, 2017. Applicants will be notified of the judges’ decisions by mid-July. The awards will be officially presented September 20th, 2017 at CitiesAlive: 15th Annual Green Roof and Wall Conference in Seattle, WA.
