We are excited to share that Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing has published a technical bulletin regarding Detec’s ability to test their 250GC-R, a semi-conductive membrane.

Detec Systems created the ability to test semi-conductive membranes including black EPDM, Tremco 250GC-R, and other cold fluid applied coatings containing carbon black or a high moisture content. The equipment works on non-conductive horizontal and vertical membranes as well.

This is reflected in ASTM D8231 (Standard Practice for the Use of a Low Voltage Electronic Scanning System for Detecting and Locating Breaches in Roofing and Waterproofing Membranes).
