The Washington Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (WASLA) is issuing a Call for Educational Session Proposals for the 2023 Annual Conference being held this Autumn in Bellevue, WA.

They invite landscape architects, academics, allied professionals, and vendors of the profession to submit education session proposals. We are looking for energized speakers in multiple presentation formats: panel with moderator, roundtables, presentations/lectures with Q&A, design conversations, and walking tours.

EXCHANGE

As designers, collaborators, thinkers, and doers, we Exchange ideas, tools, and resources to transform a concept into reality. The 2023 WASLA Conference explores this innate process of Exchange and has the unique opportunity to utilize a venue that was built around this practice. Along with the traditional presentation rooms, sessions will have the opportunity to use hi-tech spaces to better share digital tools for graphics, modeling, and more. Sessions can make use of rooms laid out for workshops, charettes, and group collaboration, further expanding our ability to Exchange information with one another. And, unlike any year before, sessions can take advantage of a maker’s space, where they can employ 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines. With these unique spaces at our disposal, the 2023 WASLA Conference will surely embrace the spirit of Exchange.
