Designed for architects, designers and implementers of green roofs. You will learn what are the required standards for the design, implementation and maintenance of vegetation roofs.

Venue: The training will take the form of an online broadcast. At the same time, you have the opportunity to ask the lecturer questions in real time.

Training goal: Today, green roofs are part of larger development projects, whether shopping malls or apartment buildings. In the future, it is expected that the share of green roofs will increase mainly due to the commitment of the Slovak Republic to mitigate the effects of the changing climate and EU support, the so-called Green Deal. Therefore, it is important that the design and implementation of green roofs adhere to standards and that green roofs function and fulfill their purpose in the long term.

Lecturer: Ing. Branislav Siklienka – Green roofs have become his mission and through them he tries to contribute to the improvement of climatic conditions. He has attended several seminars, trainings and international conferences on green roofs, green facades and other green measures. He has been working on vegetation roofs for several years and tries to spread awareness of their benefits in professional as well as lay circles.
