LABash Conference 2024
March 28 - March 30
LABash is a national conference for landscape architecture students, organized and hosted by students.
Each year, LABash brings hundreds of students and professionals from across the country to learn, network, and shape the future of the profession.
Since 1970, LABash Conference is a student-led conference for landscape architecture. Held in North America by a different landscape architecture program each year, the conference brings hundreds of students and professionals together to learn, network, and help shape the future of the profession. LABash Conference Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The theme of LABash for 2024 is Sunny Side Up, which radiates warmth, optimism, and the motivation to build a brighter future for the landscape architecture profession. We look forward to providing engaging and informative sessions that allow students and professionals to break out of their shells and make meaningful connections.
1:00 – 2:30 PM & 3:30 – 5:00 PM
As landscape architecture students we know more than anyone else the healing power of nature. Led by Professor Haven Kiers (known for her pioneering work through the UC Davis Sheepmowers program) this campus exploration promises both exploration and education into the many ways the great outdoors can improve sleep quality, cognitive processes, and social connections. If you’re interested in diving into how the natural world can improve wellbeing and bolster community, then this is the visit for you!
