In this session, you will learn about the characteristics of expanded shale, clay and slate (ESCS) engineered media and why they are important for stormwater media success. Also, how stormwater bioretention can be landscape features when the media is designed to infiltrate, drain and reaerate root zones. Sample stormwater projects will be presented.
